Want to buy a jacket for my brother from above website but it charges extra shipping charges for India which increases the cost way much.

Can anyone advice the alternative to get it in best price.
Any comment is welcome even advice for other sites.

If you are buying leather jacket. It will be very heavy and hence attract heavy shipping charge too. Customs will add too. It’s better to buy from India. Good leather jackets start from 7k onwards and sports bike ones around 10k.

Leathers available in India are not having correct ce ratings. And it’s not only about leather jacket rather looking for one piece leather suits made for racings. As racing is not so common sports in India but its much common in European countries.
So they make quality products and pricing will b appropriate.
And their delivery is free within eu countries. However delivery to India also is not costly. But import duty costs 20-30% of the product cost. I am looking for a cheaper medium for import. Or if possible can by pass the import.
Any leads will b appreciated.

The last I was involved with biking all the major racing accessories brand including Alpinestar and Dainese were present in India.

Edit: Yes they are readily available here.

They selling even on Amazon.

Edit 2: I forgot to mention that I haven’t checked but if that price listed on EU website includes VAT then it’s applicable only for EU residents. We don’t have to pay that tax, so deduct that before evaluating the final price.

It is available in India but with prices 20-30k higher than the prices available in eu countries.
And there is one more issue. The leathers they are selling are too old once my friend bought one and found mfg date was 2.5 yrs old. And you know best usage of these leathers won’t be more than 4-5 years. After that they will become brittle and lose its purpose.

Check the price comparison for one a* suit:
http://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.mobile/?Object...
Price is: 444.20£= 39400 inr including vat.
http://www.superbikestore.in/type/riding-suits-...
Price is: 84850inr excluding vat.

Can you please tag dimers who can help in this regard.

Like I said subtract the VAT and add customs and shipping charges, that’s your final amount.

You are better off with specific forums like team-bhp for issues related to biking.
