I did a transaction of Rs.2400 with my BOB credit card
i got a sms and receipt of 2400
when i checked my statement the transaction was shown as Rs.2423.28
I have tried mailing them calling them and messaged them on social platform still no response
this was my first transaction on this credit card
I will be closing my card tomorrow

Translation at petrol pump?
Arey bhai not all credit card transactions will be charged the same amt as purchase,there are some transaction for which credit card charges are additional like fuel at petrol pumps,irctc ticket booking,some fees for exams etc.
U r new to credit card that’s why
Even I felt same when I was charged surcharge

Because its basic of credit card, never use at petrol station. Or read fuel surcharge waiver T&C before using it.
It’s a debit/credit card surcharge.

The receipt said 2400 even the sms said 2400
there was no addinational charges on receipt i received from the bank transaction amount itself was shown as Rs.2423.28
