I am willing to setup a new bsnl broadband connection for my home and i wish to know whether it is to buy router and telephone from them or it is better to buy my self which one is better option?Thanks for your time.

Buy DSL modem Separately!

Get Landline telephone from them if you want wired one. For cordless landline phone, buy from stores/online

Before you buy a router decide on the service provider because their tech might differ. Also some service providers offer a free basic modem and if your are allowed to buy your own device ask them for the router type. If you are not sure which one to buy for your connection ask here and someone will definitely help you choose the right one.
