BSNL going Airtel!!! Headlong..

Although not as common, I have been charged by BSNL for things I never did. No excuse will work since I do not use it to make calls or subscribe to anything and no one even calls on that number..

Today twice I was charged rs30 each for 0 second calls I never made.. I have unlimited plan so this just rings and deducted rs30 each time.

That’s really bad.. that too you can’t get back your deducted balance soon without struggling with bsnl poor customer service.

I sent an SMS and cancelled the service but I think you have to fight with them to get the money back.. In fact the first one hung up on me. Not my fault I select English and they talk to me in some language.. The second time she said she will cancel it when it is reflected in their computer.. ????

This is after Trai said you need double confirmation and after Idea lost their case in court.. Form what I hear, its been happening to a lot of people.. Since it don’t show up in transactions you don’t even know where the money went..

As such BSNL never does anything to earn extra penny, may be because nobody(=TeamMgr…) rewards them.
It must be some glitch, similar to cross connection kinda.. u r billed instead of someone else stuck_out_tongue
Really really hard to get refund etc..in these PSU
But these kind of things are common in other telecoms, I guess, employees are given targets to meet by hook or crook and allowed to fiddle with S/W for illegal deductions, illegal subscriptions…etc

It seems many people were hit with this.. So not just a mistake for 1 connection..

And the money is GONE!!!!!!!!!!! WTF? They steal form your account and wont pay back

Well they might be able to make a little bit doing these tricks but now I will never renew this line and just use the bare min to keep it active and since it is a second number even that dont matter.. Once this unlimited plan is over that would be it. I will just use the money to get JIO cricket pack instead.. Yea I have been on an unlimited pack on this number for an year now so just surprised to see them do this trick and it seems many people had this happen to them so its not a mistake.
