As per my opinion don’t buy VU, result is good but playing movies in USB mode is big headache, very slow response and fast forwarding movie videos also very slow.

If you don’t have to use USB option then you can go ahead, else take Samsung or some other branded TV.

My family wala are till date cursing me, sasta wala tv utha laaye https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_cry.gif

If you really want to take this TV, go to someone’s house who has VU TV and see the USB option

plz visit largest electronic store in your city which stock more tv models .see for yourself, compare and then ask specific model question for a proper answer.

yes there are some brands who only sell online but when you can afford a lg 42 tv you would like to get one more which is at par with that in picture quality.

I would recommend the new LG smart TV with WebOS 3.0 if you are a bit tight on budget else the W80D series from Sony.

Compared to Sony the LG TV has a bit deeper blacks but overall I personally liked the Sony ones more because of more number of HDMI ports and better app support on Android when compared to WebOS. Also, I like the colors to be bright so Sony is my preference.

I didn’t use a VU TV personally but from what I heard the picture refresh rate isn’t high and you can observe momentary lag at times, it’s not as smooth as a Sony/LG/Samsung.

Smart TV interface is very slow on VU TVs.

At the same time if your budget restricts you then you have no option but to consider something on the lines of VU itself then.

You can also try Micromax 40 inch TV. They are offering total 3 years warranty under their warranty extension offer. Their video quality is okay, but refresh rate is very less…

Panasonic TH-40C200DX (101.6 cm) 40 LED TV (Full HD)
http://www.panasonic.com/in/consumer/tv/led-lcd...
Go for this one. I’m planning to buy this too. Benefits are:
1) Good Brand
2) Refresh Rate is Good
3) Is cheaper than many big brands and is equivalent to Samsung/LG.
It is available on PayTM/Flipkart/Snapdeal (Paytm looks cheapest)
