can i take legal action on axis credit card department?

so i asked one of the axis cc rep to upgrade my card to buzz or axis flipkart cc but that shitty rep upgraded my card AXIS WORLD Privilege Credit Card which i never asked for. the charges are freaking 1770rs /- including GST. the travel benefits are zero use for me

i called the axis cc immediately and fired up on them. the manager took a request and asked me to call them back in a 5 days. i don’t think they will resolve it peacefully

the benefits are good but dam that 1770/- yr charge negates the positives.

I received a call from HDFC credit card staff that they are upgrading my card. I said I don’t want to upgrade my existing card. She said ok. Then I got a message that my card has been upgraded. After a couple of days I received a confirmation call. She said, this is a confirmation call for upgrading my card. So I said, I asked previous agent that I don’t want to upgrade my existing card and I am telling you the same. So she started listing all the benefits I will get with new card etc etc. At last, I said I don’t want to upgrade and please cancel this upgrade. She said OK. After a couple of days I got the message that my new card has been dispatched. Received the new card after 4-5 days. joy
