I was checking my CIBIL report today , one thing I notice is

Utilization : 81%

Why Banks are reporting lower High Credit limit to CIBIL ? is there any reason for that ?

one of my bank has reported 1.5 L Credit limit for their CrediCard where as actual credit limit is 7.5 lac.

Due to this My Utilization is above 81% . Is it good or bad ?

should I ask my bank to report right credit limit and not to hide the credit limit from CIBIL ? I do not understand Bank hiding credit limit is good for customer or not.

high credit utilization ratio impacts your credit score negatively.81% is too high. Lower utilization ll mean a higher score. You should definitely talk to your bank.

That 1.5L must the maximum usage you might have done on your card

And you should try to reduce your utilization to less than 50% to increase your credit score

yes .

they are showing like this
Credit limit : -
High Credit : 300
Creditbalance : 250

when I am using my crredit card I always keep in mind that not to use more than 30% of available credit . I always do that

see , I have used 1,50,000 on my credit card whose limit is 7.5L which is just 20% utilization . but since bank has reported that High Credit is 1.7 L and balance is 1.5 L this gives a utilization ration around 88%. This is not my fault .
