Cleartrip Looting with Convenience fees ??

hi guys,
i booked flight tickets using cleartrip they add 225 rs as non-refund convenience fees per passenger, so if we’re taking 10 ticket means, we have to pay 2250 extra as convenience fees.
but in Akbar travels (mobile app) they dont have any convenience fees and even 30 rs less than cleartrip, so 225 rs + 30 rs saving = 255 rs saving.
*so cleartrip is looting user with convenience fees ?? *
or No convenience fees on akbar travels is just promotion or they dont have conveneience fees normally ??

Due to this convenience fees thing saved more than 5000 rs this month from akbar travels.

U can get cleartrip gvs at 20% discount on the other hand u will not get any discount from Akbar travels.. correct me if I am wrong..
Also cleartrip offers best lowest fares among many(most of the times).
But Conv fee is atrocious, its a loophole exploited by many portals.
@desibuddy No, Cleartrip is not the only travel portal charging convenience fee. In fact, most travel portals charge convenience fee including the airline websites.

Also, as others have pointed out, you can buy Cleartrip gift cards at 15%-20% discount whenever there is a sale. This way, the discount will still more than offset the convenience fee for most bookings.
BTW, are you a travel agent? Asking because 20+ bookings per month couldn’t possibly be for your own family (you mentioned saving 5K).
we have one home function, so booking for our relatives 
so cleartrip => pay by money/GV, they collect convenience fees, so i have to think about other website (as akbartravels is fine).
and buying GV in discount of 20 % and paying convenience fees is same i think, better will check any other option like 5 % cashback on few Credict cards have to try..

Also if I am not wrong payment via cleartrip vouchers does not have conveyance charges ?
Not anymore, bro. They are now charging convenience fee even if you pay the full amount via gift cards. This change happened sometime last month; there was a thread about it.

I have bought 4*2k gift cards using that i tried to buy 3700 rup flight ticket including conv fees but eveytime my payment is getting failed. Even mailed to the support but no one replied.
what to do even today i am getting payment errors, tried with both full payment and partial payment methods.
Anyone else faced this issue.
BTW, finally i have paid full payment using credit card and the ticket got booked for the same flight on same day.
AKbar travels also added 160 rs /ticket convenicence fees but it give 30-300 rs discount during payment.

cleartrip is gng crazy wid convenience fee… i hav booked international tkcts in last one month… once there was no conv. fee… once i was charged 499rs…. and nxt tym it was 329 rs… !!!!
