Seems you can use this options with all of them But each with a different source like Airtel only has with windows and vodaphone with google..

Anyone know how to control this in Idea? Especially when you have in app subscriptions I dont want carrier billing enabled. Like winrar or true caller and many others can deduct money this way using google play for subscriptions. In fact even roaming can use this method to charge you for cellular data.

CC said it was an option in MyAccounts→Add payment Method→ enable/Disable Carrier billing

But that option is not present in My idea app..

I already bought the pc version long ago but saw they did not have buy any more only subscription. And it comes in useful a lot more than you think. I do not trust subscriptions though. So I wanted control of when I turn it on and off. The feature is there but just dont know how to do it.

It is first linked in Play payment options then only one can deduct it, and carrier charge 10-20% fees. If you don’t want to use it, better not link it. Option of Vodafone is available in Play payment options, don’t know about idea.

If it is not enabled then it wont show up in play store as a payment option. And once you enable a subscription in app purchase removing it from play store dont make a difference. So wanted a way to turn it off and on when I wanted. If its off then play store wont be able to deduct charges automatically by subscription. Just like removing a credit card after subscribing to it dont make any difference, you have to turn the subscription off.
