Converting HDFC Bank Credit Card To LTF - Is it possible?

Recently HDFC offered me pre-approved offer for credit card and the same was accepted by me and the card was processed subsequently.
They gave me a Moneyback Credit Card (Yes I know it’s very basic but it’s my first card and I’ll use it to build credit score) 
Now I can’t understand how can I make the card Life Time Free (Do note that I already have a bank account with them also still it isn’t LTF).
Some dimers asked me to e-mail them.
Upon emailing the customer care team, they replied and told me that I am eligible and can make it LTF by Opting for Smartpay excluding pre-paid mobile for minimum 90 days (Which I already did for 1 electricity bill but the bill isn’t in my name & I heard that bill MUST be in my name) or by Opting for Oneassist or by doing ₹500*4 transactions each month for 3 consecutive months.
However I am not able to understand if wallet transactions (Paytm Mobikwik) are counted within the ₹500 one and also I didn’t come across any dimer yet who has converted card to LTF by doing ₹500*4 transactions.
Funny thing is that when I’m calling up the customer care they’re saying that they don’t have the information and are asking me to follow the email if I have received it.
Is the e-mail reliable or they’re just making me fool as call support is saying they can’t see any provision of making the card LTF
I really need to convert this card to LTF as it doesn’t make sense holding such a basic card by paying fees

500×4 for 3 months…. This offer is not for everyone, if you get this offer. Just add it on mobikwik/paytm without worry. Any transaction will count.
As you already added electric bill on smarrpay, your card will LTF without doing anything… Just keep it active for 90 days. But if you added smartpay today then active date will start from 1 March.
Moneyback card should be free for the ones who have account in HDFC!
Unfortunately my isn’t 
DTH recharge, life insurance, broadband etc options are there
visit smartpay once and add/update by your requirement
Yes I added electricity but the problem is that the name on the bill isn’t mine as mentioned in the card 
I don’t know if that may cause any problems

How to check, the offer is on the card or not,, i too got
moneyback card and did 4 transactions on payment, and added electricity bill of others name, how would i get to know that i am eligible for LTF?
By mailing CC. Their reply is reliable
They say everything must be performed within 3 months or 90 days of card set up date does this mean 3 statements or 90 days from when I received the card?
smartpay should be registered and ativated within 90 days of card setup date. but the 4 transaction part is a bit unclear because my home branch said it is 4 transaction per 30 days from card setup date, but phonebanking told me it is 4 transaction in all the first 3 statements.
Do you have a dth? if yes, it can be easily registered for Rs. 100 per month in smartpay.
I too applied for regalia first and the agent said it can be converted to LTF card if I opt for smartpay. I have opted for the same…let’s see

Just registering the card on Smartpay will turn the card LTF…No bill payments required…
Added friend’s DTH Tatasky (already 1 recharge ₹150 processed but in friend’s name connection is) , LIC in my name (Premium falls due on end of March will be paid by Smartpay)

Yesterday I upgraded from regalia first to regalia card, customer care told first year it will be free and later it will become LTF if register for smartpay, hence I registered 2 LIC bills through smartpay.

I too registered for LIC smartpay however lic portal reflects both my & father’s name in policy (Me :- Life Assured Father :- Proposer) it’s written like this let’s see anyways smartpay didn’t ask for name in policy during registration

Its not necessary to do 4 transactions.
I opted smartpay 100₹ dth rechge for 3 months.
There no restriction like 500₹ is minimum.

Just 1 question related to 500*4 transactions for 3 consecutive month.
I did it in JAN,FEB & MARCH month
However just 2 statements are generated
From 23rdjan to 23rd march.
So i already qualified right?
I think it’s statement wise not calendar month wise so you need to do for another statement cycle ending April 23rd
My card completed 90 days on 15th May and yesterday one statement got generated however no First Year Fees was charged.
Does this mean no First Year Fees for me or HDFC charges joining/First Year Fees at a later date?
Update :- It’s now converted to LTF Card, confirmed from CC via email/Call

Whatever be the result I’ll update you all regarding they made it LTF or not.
I already registered for Smartpay with 1 active electricity bill and as a precautionary measure am also doing the ₹500*4 transactions every month for 3 months
