Hey guys recently i had blocked and closed a card and new card was issued with a new number. This card is 4 years old card. Now i was thinking of applying for a new card on card to card basis. The issue is my CIBIL is still showing old card number. I asked the bank to update the CIBIL and they say it gets updated monthly and will reflect in 1 or 2 months time. Now the question is should i wait for 2 months and apply or i can apply with this card too as Cibil has not yet been updated with new card number.

Ya bro. But it has been more than a month since i received the new card after blocking the old card but still Cibil shows old card number.

you should wait till the bill with new card is generated and then give both card front and both card statement for processing card to card . else wait for 3 month and apply with new card details alone

New card bill has been genearted and i have the old card and all its statements. I have a hdfc card too with good limit but cannot use it since 6 months have not yet been completed.

He wants to tell that, his card is replaced and card account is same. Bank report to CIBIL about your card account (always different from card number, like saving account number), not card number.

Now you can apply Card to card, because card account is same, only card number is different. Provide KYC and new card front and last 2 months statement. All done.
