Credit card over limit charges of November - reversal now?

It’s my first time over limit charge. And no history of late payment

No harm in requesting.. Push for it

Say u didn’t rcv alert of exceeding limit or they shud have blocked txn if exceeded.. And request to reverse..

Happened same , limit exceeded .
Total vasooli of 2000 including tax.
I am weak at cc terms ; so help me if you had any solution

Standard Chartered fails the transaction if we try to exceed the limit. Every bank should do the same.

That is very dangerous…You must see, in fact, line by line scan for any rule changes…etc and also SMS notifications from Credit cards You should never miss reading them.
Everyone learns it at a cost.
I learnt it for around Rs2500 when BSNL LL suddenly changed free local calls(all n/w) to ONLY BSNL and there was a small box on the bill indicating this change and as usual looked at broadband tariff ignoring other details.

Not possible to revert now, un less you are a super premium customer
Usually if you request in the same month you will get a refund.
I have got late payment charges, finance charges, annual fees all reversed however it should be done immediately after statement generation
