Creditcard offers making us to spend more ?

As we all know credit cards give some reward point, now most of the people follow that reward point blindly without thinking about their hard earned money as spending increases slowly month by month to reach some points (fixed by us in mind, so we spend more)

are you spending more or benefitting more from creditcard ?
