- Complementary Drinks are by far the biggest weapons of the Buffet Owners. Carbonated drinks and even water creates a short term feeling of fullness in your Gastrointestinal Tract [The effects of carbonated water upon gastric and cardiac activities and fullness in healthy young women.]. Thus you feel that you did eat a lot but just after coming out of restaurant you tend to feel that you could have eaten way more than what you just had. SAY NO TO ANY FREE DRINKS, ITS A TRAP.
- Late Service by the weirdest of reasons like we are making the food more spicy, more interesting and all those nonsense. The slower you eat the more easily you feel full [Why eating slowly may help you feel full faster – Harvard Health Blog]. CONSTANTLY ASK THEM TO SERVE QUICKER.
- Waiters keep on Filling up the glasses with Water. Make sure you don’t keep drinking them as they impact your satiety.
- Wide variety of attractive salads and breads before the main course are just to fill up your stomach with generic stuffs. BEWARE.
- REMEMBER that PRAWNS AND MUTTON costs more and the owners serve them the least. Ask them to STOP SERVING ANYTHING ELSE TILL MUTTON KABAB IS READY!
- Owners advertise their main course more than deserts. Eat less of main course and save for deserts… Brownies cost more than bhindi ki sabzi!

Now no one can stop me from looting this deal 😂😂 in my place we don’t have this type of servings. There are stalls of food and you trash others to get in line and get what you want.(at each stall) no non veg (atleast not to those high fi weddings 😔😔)
Some buffets restaurants in shopping malls give free parking coupons , make sure to take them even if you did not park there and sell the parking coupons lol

Don’t waste time & effort on panipuri, soup etc. Skip all the ghaasphoos..
Make sure you splurge on paneer/chicken/mutton/fish (in your picking order) to make the most.
Eat 4 rasmalai instead of 1 rasmalai n some bowl of kheer.
If you are not a big eater, dont go for a buffet.
Start the buffet in reverse order to make the most.. desserts, main course, starters, salads & soups, welcome drinks..
If we eat sweet first, we feel our stomach is full. So it is better to go for starters without any second thought.
