Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.
Comments are welcome and please restrict it to only discussion around the screenshot/features posted.
Please bring option to create polls
Consider enhancing App abilities which does not have edit feature, post no, post time etc inter alia.
Tagging should be made easy. On App its impossible to tag unless you know the exact name. There is no drop down help.
Also option to Tag / Favourite / Sticky post i.e. if I like to keep some post for future record, i can tag it and can view it whenever I want without searching for it. Similar to recent whatsapp starred message.

VU for the future : OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..)
Try to add future of sharing dimes to others, atleast give this option above Deal Subedar or Deal Lieutenant, because there is no use only sharing Karma to Others. Sharing dimes to the OP for the best deal will encourage him to post more good deals.
Best change will be to delete “Trading Section” , and blanket ban for anyone trading anything in other sections .
There should be an OPTION to PM any dimer from the thread itself rather than going to his profile and then chat.
Also an option to see why thread was voted down based on the reason selected by person who voted down the thread like it was used to be in Desidime classic version.

That will have its downside, too. What if 5 subedars (having around 100-150 dimes which are normally not redeemable) agree to send dimes to 6th subedar, then 6 subedar redeem it for dominos voucher and all 6 subedars will eat pizza on behalf of desidime?

Mobile Site/App doesn’t have the feature to edit Opening Post of the thread. Have been saying this since a year now. You promised and forgot. Why not sort of the existing issues rather promising to bring so called ‘ache din aane wale h’
PS → I know i m going off topic but i think it’s the right thread to face some reality. I appreciate the features that have been rolled out recently but depriving a major chunk of users (mobile) to some basic site features for such a long time is disheartening to see

option to search for a dimer on DD. currently when we do a search, we got all the threads in which dimer is active anyhow. After after this a manual search is required.

1. there should be a mechanism where we put a deal link and we should get immediate pop up saying that it is posted by some other person or if not then ok to proceed.. I guess this will leads more original post instead of repost
2. We need a app where we can edit our contents smoothly.. Which is not available now.. This will be easy who login dd through desidime app.. Because its not possible every time to use computer.
I will send more.. Once i get any idea..

we do have demands and will be forever…human needs can’t be satisfied in any case. Still I expect DD team will continue making effort for better fulfilment of needs of dimer.
Hi sir. Good to see the expansion mode for the forum.
🔶In the screenshot u provided the name and deatils of the the person who posted reply is too big. I think the present box format is good enough as maximum wightage is to be given to the content of the post rather than who posted it.
🔶And whenever there r some Big offers like amazon treasure hunt etc almost after every minute a new page is crested n the forum. Right now u only support 30 replies per threa. SO plz increase that limit to 50/60 or keep infinite scrolling upto 100 posts in the page. In that way we can easily read all the replies to the thread in single page.
🔶And many times after posting good deal we will be puzzled if its considered as FPD or not. I know all the posts cant be made FPDs but if someones suggests it for FPD and mods feel it doesnt qualify for that then they can just flag it as “Not eligible for FPD” and if possible a reason like repost,less price else where,etc So that we dont keep hopes and wait for it to become FPD
I m concerned abt security of fourm
There should a mechanism to protect forum from spam
I have seen many fourm got attacked by scripts from their own members
If a fourm face spam attack then protectin feature should auto enable a captcha for posting and before logging in
I have also seen an attack in which innocent user jst clicked malicious link and multiple post got created from their account..thus the fourm got spamed
@admin up gradations are not always good, but the are Awesome bro! 
I would like to request to make DD search system like Twitter or half of it. like if we write any post in the search box it will show that post directly instead of thread. That’s just my suggestion, rest on you.
@admin Please consider my another request also, kindly add ‘Add to channel’ option in mobile site too. its headache for some of us (who use DD mostly via mobiles) to go to dekstop site and then add to channel and it consumes much time also. Thanks!!

No! it’s not available on Mobile site yet, it’s only available on dekstop site.

No! it’s not available on Mobile site yet, it’s only available on dekstop site.

Btw, why u prefer mobile site over mobile app?
1) Please bring option to Save chats / transfer files in chats.

Absolutely.. It is really stupid and painful thing to add the pictures from imgur or other. Please add upload pic option here itself! Its a humble request.

This is not facebook mate, What if someone abuses someone and Deletes his own comment !
Moving from one forum to another is also not possible: Reason being a user can intentionally move a Trading thread to Hot Deals Online and Viceversa !

I think there should be an option to upload atleast two pictures directly (instead of going to imgur or similar ) while creating the post directly?
