You need to follow the steps below to get the Beta app:

1) Join the testing Community:
https://plus.google.com/communities/11771394684…

2) Wait for your invitation to be accepted.

3) Now go here:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.de…me

4) Click on “Become a tester”. You will now be able to Download Version 2.0 of the app.

Few Screenshots from new app

App is fluid and responsive from previous version.

I am not able to login to app, not with FB login and nor with my user/pwd.

#. optimal use of screen space could have been better.
#. plz add dark theme to this which will use less battery
#. In coupons section, upon clicking “Get Coupon for Free”, nothing is happening. Only page is rendering
#. If you open the menu, it should disable all other things in the page. e.g. if you open menu, sharing is enabled.

me too facing the same issue

Facing some issues in 2.0v
1. Smiley are not seen sometimes on title. Can be seen in thread
2. Sometimes thread and its title does not match. I mean the information of the threads are interchange
3. Takes lots of time to load in low connection which was not happened with 1.4.6
4 . Thread title box takes lots free space. Reduce the free space if possible.

The app is much better and responsive than the precious one.. The material design really helps with the fluidity.

I have one suggestion, there are way too many animations in the app. There is a hint of animated components in each section of the app: The Sidebar…

On continuation to the precious reply.. If the transitions are not present, they would be much better than a lot of other aspps

Please ignore the last 2 replies to this thread. Was half asleep, and had no idea what I’m writing.

So I’ll come to the point. The app is now way better than the previous one, and much much smoother and responsive. However, the app comes with it’s own cons. There are animations and transitions in quite a few places which (in my opinion) are not required. E.g. – When you slide open the menu from the left side, there is an animation in the top right (the Google Account Picture). This is purely not required. Also, the background of the tabs has an animation. This one too, doesn’t really make the app more usable, and hence, should be removed.

I’ll definitely use the app further and get back to you with more comments.
