Diners clumiles or regalia first?
I am being offered a choice between vc jet platinum, regalia first and diners clubmiles. Which one should i choose?
Hdfc puts the regalia first a tier above the diners clubmiles is what i gather from reviews. What would i loose out on if i go for the clubmiles instead of the regalia first.?
I don’t travel much , is there any other way to put best use of the accumulated points other than travel tickets?Does clubmiles come with a complimentary priority pass?
Also, i see that they have downgraded the 10x points to max 5000 a month

Yes, that is the reason I got diners for my wife, since I don’t want to hold addition pp card.
If you don’t travel, you can redeem from their catalog. Acceptance wise, Regalia First will be better as it is VISA.
Diners card are better than Regalia card with 10x offer.
You will get 6 complimentary lounge visit – India & outside in total with Diner club miles but 8 complimentary lounge access in India with Realia First and 3 outside India using Priority pass.
With Regalia, you get VISA Signature card and can avail BMS weekend offer
Go for diner, regalia first is lower than club miles
Regalia first < clubmile , regalia < infinia < diner black
I feel Diners Club Miles is better than Regalia First. owing to following:
- Diners Club miles 10X promo will give you 13% reward rate using Smartbuy (maximum cap 5000 points) on Amazon, Flipkart and 13% on partner websites like Uber, Swiggy, BigBasket etc. There is no 10X offer on Regalia First. Regalia First will give you 5% cash back, maximum Rs. 1000/- per month using Smartbuy for Amazon and Flipkart.
- Diners clubmiles will give you 6 Complimentary access to 700+ Lounges Worldwide in a calendar year, Regalia First gives only 3 international lounge access, however Regalia first gives 8 complementary domestic lounge access.
- Both cards provide 4 points per 150 spent. Diners Clubmiles has better value of rewards if you convert them to Air Miles using Miles Echange program.
- 1 point of regalia first is equivalent to Rs. 0.3 if used for booking flight tickets on https://hdfcbankregalia.myrewar...om, however 1 point of Diners Clubmiles is equal to Rs 0.50 when used for booking flight tickets on https://www.hdfcbankdinerscl...n/
Many people talk about low acceptability of Diners Club Card and as per my personal experience, I haven’t faced any issue so far in bangalore. Diners uses Discover network and so is RuPay and hence where ever RuPay cards are accepted, Diners would be accepted too. Hence I would suggest to go for Diners Clubmiles card.
Diners Club Card accept 4 million RuPay Card POS merchants across India.

Clubmiles is much better than Regalia First.
Clubmiles don’t have PP but card itself gives you lounge access.
