DISH TV vs Airtel DTH vs Tata Sky Vs Videocon D2h

I have Airtel. The best part is their quick service. I am loving it.

I bought Videocon at Delhi about 15 days back. Their SD quality is very bad, HD is good, customer care worst. I don’t recommend Videocon at all. Do your research based on your requirements.

One more thing. Don’t even think of taking Dish tv else they will call you up somewhere around 2 AM and will inform that Sir your recharge is about to over so please make a new recharge right now.

ye kiske sath hua…m using dishtv since 4-5 yrs…no prob also i think cheapest subscription..

Mere saath. Mujhe 2.30 AM par call karke kahte h Sir aapki request aayi thi naye connection ke liye.

Mene fir bola ke mujhe North Indian pack chahiye since I don’t know local language aur wo bola ke nahi Sir phale 2 months tak you have to use South Indian pack only then you can change the pack. I said you stupid put the phone down.

Bro I was made on myself that why I gave my details on their website but really laughed a lot. Funny people.

No I didn’t have the connection by that time.

just now got the info dishtv offering the service for 1799 for first connection with 400cashback and multiconnection at 1849 with 300 cashback
monthly fee for almost all dth is rs170…cricket pack it is rs190..

now looking to opt for airtel dth

never buy dish tv/… worst service + for none of the north pack has star and espn channels

can anyone tell me how billing is done and wats the prices for all disks as i am planning to buy due to digitization in my city in gujarat which is cheaper with most used channels:-o

I would recommend against airtel as I had a real bad experience with them… Their customer care is hopeless too. Tata seemes to be the leader here but its slightly expensive.

in airtel it is rs180 for 115 channels

Tata Sky will now improve as they have poached N Ravishankar from Airtel – he looked after Airtel DTH.

Don’t go by the numbers; take a look at the Actual Channels that’re part of the package. Numbers are just a marketing gimmick they employ to exploit the uninformed.
At 1790, you’re looking for SD. Videocon’s SD quality isn’t very good, rather bad. I had Hathway SD from local cable operator earlier, its SD quality was way better than what Videocon is offering even though they have better technology than their counterparts. Go for your cable operator, if that suits you.

I’m using videocon in bangalore.. I pay Rs. 221/month for around 220 channels (new south gold pack). All hindi channels I watch normally are in this pack. Other service providers normally charge approx 250 for these channels.

Till date quality is good and installation was prompt too.

How come you guys paying so less for these channel, I’m almost shelling out Rs.400 monthly for 185 channels on TATASKY.

Sad bro. I pay 315 (actual 326 but recharge before due date gives you a benefit of another 15 bucks) for Mega pack and its good. Picture quality is awesome. Well my tv is also full HD LED.

is there any way we can view only all cart packs without any base packages?
any dth support such feature?

i have used tatasky and i am currently using dishtv, i have not faced a single problem till now, you can go for dishtv

According to me…dish tv is best…I have been using dish tv since last 9 years… i have taken HD Pack…Maximum channels in Minimum amount. My other flat in Ahmedabad i have Tata sky…worst service…I am completely satisfied by the service provided by dish tv and their customer care is also very firendly and provide fast solutions and service to my query…picture quality to sab me ek sa hai…Dish TV me kum paise me jyada faayda hai…also the most viewed Channels are available in HD also…
