do you love plants? it sounds interesting to you!

hi dimers. i love plants. But I don’t have a proper place to grow plants. We live on the third floor. There is a small balcony. But the balcony doesn’t get sunlight properly. Therefore I focused on indoor plants. With @androgame help I bought a money plant. I thanking him one more time.

after some days @sandeepksd told me about growing Sweet Potato plant in water. i have tried it. the plant has grown! I’m very excited.

1) no soil required. water is enough.
2) direct sunlight is not necessary. day light is enough. (personal experience. i didn’t provide direct sunlight even 1 minute to the plant till now)
3) fast growth.

this is what i did for growing sweet potato plant:-
1) bought some heavy sized sweet potato at veg market.
2) took a glass container and i filled it with water.
3) i inserted some sticks (use toothpicks if you have) into the sweet potato for making it able to stand properly on glass container. (atleast some part of the sweet potato must be submerged in the water. sweet potato will drink the water and roots will start to develop)
4) awaited some days. regularly changed water once per every 4 days. plant came and grown quickly.

i researched on the internet. by following same method we can grow carrot plants, onion plants, garlic plants etc too. (but direct sunlight is necessary to some of the plants) i will try them next time in day light, as i can’t provide direct sunlight. but i cannot sure that if they will grow in day light. i will test them.

so guys, try yourself too. grow sweet potato plants in water especially, this is sweet potato season (oct to dec) as i know sweet potatos are available only in this season.
