I visited 2 of the local post offices, none of them know how to activate Online Banking and they don’t have any intention to learn it. All useless people working there. I am based on Kolkata South. Can anyone guide me if any other post office can do that?

As per the India Post website, I have to visit post office branch to activate the Online Banking. Can’t do self activation. Now, none of post office I visited so far knows how to activate it. Although this Online banking service is in place since past 1 year. Still they don’t know.

Open This Link – https://www.indiapost.gov.in/VAS/Pages/For...px

And Then Under Saving Banks Option, Download The Last Form (ATM Card/Internet/Mobile/SMS banking service request form) And Submit This To Your Home Branch.

Hope They Will Forward The Same To Concenred Team To Activate Your Request.

Once Done. Then Head Over To – https://ebanking.indiapost.gov.in/corp/Authenti...#

And Now Activate It Clicking On New User Activation. Hope This Will Solve Your Issue.

If you are struck any time with any of the issue, forget to avail the support either from local or HQ of Post network. They don’t go beyond what they are told to do and will do only crooked jobs devised for their own benefit. I mean, if you have some problem, you will spend your time and money in getting it resolved. They may ask even the source of income to establish your credentials.

Times have changed bro…
Some new recruits of younger people have now taken place and now management has improved drastically near my post office.
Even i am impressed with speed post service as they are delivering in max 4 days with 1/3rd cost of courier service and online tracking is well maintained
