You will get msg when the amount is deduced from your account
After all the app takes you to website where the transaction is processed for this you have to enter 3d secure password every time
Check account history and get phone Numbers and call the numbers
Or else change your 3d secure password asap
Check ur passbook check the entries of previous transactions and these transactions

Mainly Chang ur 3d secure password ASAP

always use VCC. This is the reason i never use my original cards

NO Need to worry guys, these are the transactions when you created a VCC from SBI and used it at various merchants(including freecharge).
They had lien the amount, and now they have bulk cleared the VCC, hence the deductions are made.
These all transactions are your past transactions

I have already changed my 3D password and net banking pw but even after I receive msg for failure. Lodged complaint with freecharge but nothing happened they told that the transaction ids were not initiated from freecharge contact your bank.

Further I have not used VCC now but have used 1-2 month before and lien amount comes within 3-4 days after transaction.

Even I have faced this type of situation.

I have received 3 sms from SBI (I have account in SBI) regarding failure of transaction of Rs. 10 with transaction id. Instantly I logged in to my SBI account and checked the failed transaction and two transaction are from Freecharge and one transaction from Accelyst(As in the case of OP). Then instantly I changed the password of my debit card and net banking. But still at 4AM I received fourth msg from SBI for failure of trnsaction of Rs. 100/-.

I still don’t know whether the transactions were done through my debit card details or using net banking details. No one have access to the details of my card and net banking.

I have not received any OTP then I think they didn’t used my net banking details and if they were trying to use my debit card details then if they enter wrong password 3 times my card would be blocked but I never receive any failure message.

Something must be wrong with freecharge. Better use VCC for future transaction on freecharge.

OP did you used VCC ?

yeah i have used vccs before

All e-commerce sites does store your card details along with CVV in encrypted format. They are not supposed to do this but still they save them to save their company from legal issues. All the companies must reply to cybercell if any request comes from them.

Are you sure about this? Companies don’t store CVV at all to avoid legal issues and also to prevent any damage to user in event of a data breach (though in India we’re also protected by 3d secure step even after CVV is disclosed).

Yes Absolutely dude, they have cleared those VCC’s now.

You remember the lien amount issues with them 1 month back, The transaction done that time is being mapped to the account now.

Guys getting the entries of Mobikwik and eBay are getting because they must have used the VCC 1-2 month back in those websites.

Let me tell you my friend, even CVV is sometimes not required to transact.

Try using ICICI Credit Card at Amazon AWS (Amazon Web Services) they charge $1.00 without any CVV.;-}

So all the transactions discussed here are only from SBI, so someone from SBI stolen the details and doing wrong. Then its looks like a scam. Affected customers immediately approach the bank in person. Sending mails or calling customer care won’t resolve the issue immediately.

They are after all the Government/Lazy people and don’t expect corporate bank type action regarding this

Will they give new card for free?? I think NO

Yes, The almost similar things happen with me last year,

Someone create an account with my HDFC card details in freecharge , paytm and Paypal and made a purchase of more then 30000 RS in two days.I report these transactions to credit card department and they made few transaction back from paypal as it was not verified by 3d Secure Code. But they refuse to refund payments for all transactions from freecharge etc as these was completed using 3D Secure Code.

It is Very difficult for the bank to get all the details from merchant site like on which number it was charged etc, as they are abide by rules and regulations. But you have to fight legally then only it is possible.

After a 3 months fight i got my money back from the bank.So i am sure you will get your money too.
I can Suggest all the dimers the below points to keep your self away from these headaches and tensions

1. Always use Virtual card for online transactions instead of using your orignal card.

2.Remove 3 digit CVV code from your Card by scratching and remember the code in your mind,as if you handover the card to any shopkeeper or friends or relatives,it is very easy for them to remember the 3 digit code.

3.Do Not apply for loans from third party or handover the card to any one. if you will
ever share details with them, then you will be vulnerable. The instance happen with my friends, He applied for home loan and they ask credit card number to fill up the forms, in mean time the loan agent remember his cvv Card number bravely. Now the agents has his genuine documents and credit card details with CVV number in his mind. He applied for the duplicate SIM from Reliance with same number on which the card was issued and made a fraud transactions worth Rs 50000. It is the mistakes of Mobile Operators as they issued Duplicate sim and make it active in hours.

guys today i am also facing the same problem, but i notice that today’s deducted amounts are nothing but the re deduction of previously made transaction on Free*harge or Mobikw!k, it means for single usage of VCC we have been charged twice i realize this because i made a transaction of rs.116 previously and today i have been charge but as per my knowledge it was already debited from my ac previously, more interestingly that transaction is not coming in “Find transaction” but showing in “status enquiry”. Guys please do confirm this and fill a complaint to SBI!

The lien was cleared but you may not find the Mobikwik/eBay entry mapped to your account.

Actually since the multiple users complained for the lien amount issue, they cleared the lien amount, but didn’t made any debit transaction to your account, now they are mapping the missing transactions.

I got the info, cause I used VCC to buy Amazon GC worth Rs. 5000*2.
And they were deducted from my account 2-3 weeks ago.
Today also, some of the freecharge transactions(Rs. 10) were deducted.

How long is a virtual card valid in SBI? virtual card is allowed only once for usage ?

Generally virtual cards are single time usage cards with 24 hrs validity .In case if the card is used within 24 hrs, then remaining amount will get credited back to the main account the next day.

Could be the statements are late clearances.
