How are Amazon and flipkart exclusives like redmi 3s, prime and coilpad mobiles being sold in eBay at higher prices.

Does anybody know how ?
Do they just buy it from Amazon or flipkart and sell it???
Is that legal?

It is legal as eBay itself is allowing them to list
There were times when Flipkart/moto issued legal notice to eBay not to list moto x 1st n 2nd gen devices. So then eBay used to remove all those listings automatically

And LG also did the same thing
Unless someone legally restricts any specific product eBay will allow sellers to list it
Its the same with eBay.com, it is full of resellers compared to eBay.in

So this applies to all products right…

By reselling you mean just entering the eBay customers address in the Amazon site and paying for it right?

So doesn’t this mean the packaging will be by Amazon… And its entirely legal :shock??

It’s Legal as eBay is Just a Platform & Sellers are like You and Me. When some Sale is on Flipkart & Amazon, We can Buy Products from them & Relist that in eBay with our Desired Profit. You can Buy from eBay but just Remember One thing, Do Confirm that Seller is Providing the Original Flipkart or Amazon Bill Because without that Bill you will gonna get the Warranty.

Just one fraud buyer will end all your dreams of making profits. There were many threads created on this very D&D section asking for dimers help about fraud buyers.

Reporting missing goods, dead on arrival, sending back a different item are some of the ways buyers use to cheat sellers. Ebay mostly supports buyers from the first instance and you have to fight a lot to reverse their decision. Not sure where I read it, but a seller had mentioned that he only sells cheap Chinese imports. Risk is less even if a couple of buyers commit fraud and the sales volume would help normalize such risks.

Thanks ranjith for the insight…

So there’s more than meets the eye…

But can’t we show eBay the seller rating and guarantee??
At least won’t we get the product back??

I have only told that from my limited reading experience of sellers on various forums and not personal experiences. But ebay sellers across the world even with high seller ratings complain of such things. Some ebay sellers here on this forum can throw some light on this
