EURO 2016 Bashing Room

Last night’s game was between two of my most likely contenders for the trophy. Though Belgium played way below their potential,I personally thought Italians were fantastic in the defence. When it comes to defence, Italians are like night-time bouncers. No one gets past them without a ticket. I am rooting for them to go all the way. What do you guys think?

..btw Yesterday Italy was tactically superb…I really felt Belgium are the dark horses of this tournament but Italy was supreme….

Too lazy to go through all that. But my predictions for winner is Italy(1st choice) or Belgium(2nd choice).

That was the worst defeat in English football history. England beaten by a country with more volacanoes than professional footballers.
Iceland were just brilliant. #EURO2016Unbelievable

#ENG had chances yesterday. Somehow they couldn’t convert. #ISL GK did some good saves too. Gotta mention #ISL didn’t play a real good game. But was good enough to beat #ENG yesterday.

If Italy end up winning euro2016 it will should be considered one of the greatest tournament wins, they had to beat Spain , Germany and France just to get to the final and beat Belgium to won coveted crown

You kidding me? Baring one or two miscues, England had no chances. Iceland looked like they had been paying in major tournament for years. They were in complete control, in defence particularly. Would be nice to see Iceland giving the host a run for their money.

Indeed It would be. Though, It’s too early to say that they would meet France and Belgium in semis and final respectively. Football is a funny game. No one knows it better than England right now. Gotta take one game at a time. By the way, Germany have never beaten Italy in a major tournament.

Apparently, this seem to be my analysis of the game. I wanted ISL to win nevertheless.

Hope you had seen Rooney hitting the ball above the cross bar multiple times in the first half. Those were the chances they could’ve really converted. Hurrying up when the ball is with you doesn’t really help. Penetrating ISL defense wasn’t such a tedious task. In the first half even the defenders did play like a high school team in many occasions – if you remember. Esp while clearing off the ball, they looked so confused and gave surprises to the GK with unexpected minus passes. ISL GK, though he had saved many, looked clueless whenever he got minus passes.

What a game ? Iceland really deserved that win . From 1 – 0 down they came up to win 1 – 2 . Surprisingly all three goals too place before 20 mins .
