Just writing few things to describe my experiences for the tour.

Day 1
Journey:
Its hectic journey for 17 hours from Mumbai to London, including layover in Muscat. We have to adjust the watch after every landing. People shop like crazy on Duty free shop, apparently they save taxes, hence can be purchased after showing boarding card. Liquor and food items sold in bulk.
Oman air takes care of passengers time to time food and DRINKS of choice. Vodka shots and enough of sleep, while enjoying screen and camera view of flight in Arabic and English.
Immigration is not an issue, if you stick to rules and queue. We could not see crowd elsewhere. Border force officials are fast and 500 plus people can be handled patiently.

Mumbai to London took 17 hours?! Must have been a long and boring layover. Hope you had some lounge access at Muscat.
Yes , its 2-30 hours to Muscat and 8 hours London.
I have not tried lounge, let me ask @A2Zdeals for any lounge access to Amex at Muscat next week.

At present 10.15 pm,
But sunset time was 9.30 pm plus.
Visited Trafalgar square , real happening place. All over city.
Weekends are really enjoyable at London bridge , London Eye was having huge rush.
I think at least one week required to feel the city.
I liked Hyde park and Westminster area too.
Day 2

Wembley – its area with huge Asian population, it has a big stadium and concert hall too. Hence, hotels and other commercial establishment are busy. We tried Spice of India restaurant.

Morning walk is refreshing , less people for offices on weekend. Double decker buses running frequently.

Swaminarayan temple is nice, clean and temple structure is at first floor besides mandam etc on ground floor. Cameras are not allowed. Nice space for shoes keeping/ wash room, unlike India. Its worthy to pay a visit and start the in positive note.

Hyde park -
The place includes area of 100 acres almost. This has least 3 entries and must be bigger than KBR in Hyderabad. Smaller than Buddha garden of Delhi. Its very clean and enjoyable place, all people smaller to celebrity visit here.
On weekends , locals came kids and respective cycle. Ducks can be seem near the water body. Cycles are available on rent too, which can be returned at any parking place.

City is fully connected with Metro / tube. Youngsters enjoy DHOOM DHOOM on bikes. Ambulance make huge noise, but they get the preferred way out of discipline in public culture.

Buckingham Palace -
The place Queen resides in 775 rooms, it also has largest private garden. The change of guards parade is allowed to be seen to public at 11 am daily. Reminds our wagha border parade and huge rush.

West Minister -
This area has Parliament square, Westminster church ( place for royal weddings too), demonstration like our Parliament. Statue of 11 world leader placed nearby area, which includes Our Gandhi ji too.
Walked up to nearby underground station and Thames river. This area is crowded and vehicular traffic is more. So, while queen place ruled the world earlier , this place rules the UK now. This area reminds Delhi rail bhawan, north block etc.

Madame Tussade museum -
Famous for wax statues , pictured with modi, sachin , Amitabh and bolt etc. Trump got a new place here. One show runs to explain the history of London, which can be seen sitting on seat/ car moving on belt. Creations are nice. Tickets £35 upwards (rs 3000 approx )
Enjoyed street food at prices of 3 star outside, half litre water bottle at £ 2, coffee £3, burger £3.5 etc.
Smoking is allowed in public places, no tap water to public at any of place, which I disliked very much here.

London eye -
Tickets approx £30-35, but can be deep discounted /combined with madame tussad museum ticket ( both in £40).
This is giant wheel with 32 capsules, which has space for 25 people sitting, having breathtaking view of city. Worth waiting time of 2 hours.

Day 2 cont
It includes visits to London Bridge, Trafalgar’s square, Thames river side.
People enjoy beers by jugs and free whole night sitting in garden.

Roads are clean, construction rules are very strict, you have to maintain common structure of city /road as per council and no deviation allowed. During renovation , you have to ensure proper safety. Any digging or road closure advised 1-2 months in advance though sign boards.
- Tesco , coatcutter and similar chain stores are located in every locality. They are open 6 am to midnight and 24*7 on weekends/bank holidays. Its like our Dmart, minus the crowd plus the self scanning of cart. Thompson grapes were imported from India. Happy to see that.

Several deals are also available like £3 for meal deal (snack , drink plus one more item ). Stocked fee biscuits, water bottle, fruits, chips and popcorns etc learning by the lesson during lunch. Tour operator Dont give break for lunch. Worse , if you have taken continental breakfast only.
Plan well for water, snacks, medicines, umbrella, woollens etc. in your bag.

People jogging or cycling seen everywhere. Discipline is very good in London like our fauzi movies.

Tried a smaller joint for dinner, as usual very few options for vegetarian like us. it was approx. €15 for the family, hence the saving to tour operator.
Day 3
Today we have undertaken bus journey from London to Paris. Its 10 hours journey and includes ferry ride with bus on deck. Charges €28 per person with Europe lines part of National express.
Victoria bus station is crowded but not like Jaipur or Delhi ISBT. safety norms are followed.
You have stand in line one hour before, passport scanned and boarding like airport. Even immigration happened inside the bus by French authorities. Coach loaded on ferry and passenger can enjoy like cruise minus allotted seat.
That is 90 minute journey till French port Calais, enjoyed top deck for windy air and views of sea birds crossing the borders without visa. People are buying bears by dozens. Restaurant on board also have meals, although € 10 min. , you require for average meal.
Day 3 cont.

took a taxi for Delhi darbar reastsurant and than hotel ibis style , near terminus 3 of Paris airport , CDG.

moved for 11 pm illumination show of Eiffel tower, its Wonderful show of 5 min., people gather in huge No’s. Under the tower and opposite to that.

Day 4
4th Day , its less hectic than 3rd day. Hence, you can plan to add Lido show (cabaret dance) at 11 pm ( €100 /€55) with drop off facility after 1 am.
The day is reserved for city tour, we can spent 2 hours at Eiffel tower, take the lift up to 3rd level, just few meters below the top.

you can use binoculars with paying fee and can see up to 40km in a clear day.

The bigger lift from ground to 2nd level is double decker lift and can accommodate 100+ person in one ride. You have to change the lift at 2nd level.
That’s optimal with extra fee.

Seine river tour-
Its lifeline of city like local in Mumbai. So many bridges are there to cross east west in city. Paris has great history and various monuments are preserved here. You need at least 2 days to visit historical city which include Louvre museum, invalidos (grave of Nepolean) , voltair’s home now a restaurant, Notre dome cathedral, Ministries, police HQ, Concorde bridge, Champs Elysees etc.

The area near river is famous for artist and writers, small kiosks with green wooden boxes sell old books etc. On the river bank people enjoy cool breeze with the soulmate or cycling /jogging.

Used one hour boat tour from BM,
better to sit on top deck , be careful with edges and stairs for top deck. Eiffel view from lake is also great.

My friend has hdfc regalia credit card and will arrive at Mumbai domestic airport. Any free lounge access for him possible?
lounge access is available at departure.
if you have priority pass you can access lounge at T1 and T2 terminal of Mumbai.
For dinners lounge is available only at T1 terminal.
Taking off from Milan for Muscat and later Lucknow !

Day5
Its day scheduled to visit Switzerland, hence packed the bags and loaded on coach. We left after breakfast.
{Breakfast esp continental is horrible for us, no cooked item only Juice, cereal and bread }
We checked IBIS style hotel near CDG airport, where 3/hotels situated nearby like Pullman from According group. Terminal 3 was adjacent to road and even one taxi way is above highway.
Landscapes changed from plane to hilly area , nice views and temperature is lower. 30 min. Stopover on the way, it was nice parking place and clean wash rooms. The motel on the left side (opposite to our way ), FOB was linked to parking and lift was also provided. General store , snacks and meals were available.

By the afternoon we entered Switzerland via. Basel, which is important city for banking sector. Next stop was Lucerne, which has old wooden bridge and lake nearby. It has lot of trams and busses, with less people in evening hours. True luxurious style for them.
It is a tourist place with various shopping options. We shopped at cassa grande, ( VAT refund available for single bill > €300), swiss chocolate we’re good buy besides watches. Had local ice cream ( contains egg normally ), BACHMAN is popular joint in the main square near credit suisse bank.

Attractions include boating , sun dial, trams and hilly view in the background. It has mast madhosh mausam. I wish we could we could stay there only.
Europeans living disciplined life and enjoying life after days work. No struggle for govt. Hassel’s like our India.
Moved towards wildegg near burnegg, a small hotel near railway station of euro rail. Trains were passing since early morning till midnight, but not much noise.
Interested to have a walk around but tired in the journey, just had to waste another hour after dinner in Indian restaurant named Tandoori Indian, which has closed normal operations from April to august for groups like us from India. They provide good buffet with Punjabi dishes, nan , dal etc.
