Exchnaging this Laptop on Flipkart for 10k rupees ,good or bad idea ?

Purchased in Rs. 37000 at the end of year 2010 .
so almost 5+ year now.
condition thik thak, working, 2 keys missing , heating like a garam tawa. fan not working .
running on ubuntu now because it heats so much on windows OS.

I also suggest to upgrade the ram to 8 GB
Just take your laptop to any local computer service guy at your place. He should be having generic screws that fits for most of the laptops and also he will fix other issues

i ordered this RAM and received and installed but it does not show up in CPU-Z or System information. then i took it to a local laptop care, the guy told me your original hp ram is of 10600 frequency and the transcend you bought is of 1600.so it will not support.
i don’t know what to do now, because Amazon may not take this RAM back
