experience with jiophone 99rs plan on smartphone

hi guys,

currently i am using jiophone.
i recharged my jio sim with jiophone plan 99/-
i got 30 minutes free calls for non-jio mobiles numbers.

after some days i recharged with 10Rs, 20Rs & 50Rs multiple times by using 100% cashback offers on freecharge, mobikwik, amazon, etc.
i got multiple data vouchers and i activated them all.

today i consumed 512mb daily data (given by 99 plan) completely. so i don’t have any remaining balance in daily data balance.

so, now high speed data is working with data vouchers, not with 99 plan daily data.

now i am coming to discuss main point…

i saw paytm upi offer on my smartphone. i should make upi transfer by using paytm upi for getting free wallet cashback in my paytm a/c. but… my bank a/c is registered with my jiophone number. i removed jio sim from my jiophone and inserted in my smartphone for making upi transfer.

after completing my work, a doubt generated in my mind. can we use jiophone 99Rs plan on smartphone? i tested in the past, that time the answer is “no”. but, today again i tested.

outgoing call to other network:- worked!
incoming call from other network:- worked!
mobile data service using jio sim:- worked!

i don’t have 2nd jio sim so i dosen’t tested jio to jio calls.

finally, i can understand how mobile data was worked. i don’t have 512mb data so i am currently using data vouchers.

but, how was the outgoing calls worked on smartphone with jiophone 99Rs plan? i can’t understand this.
