Hello Everone, as a part of normal routine I was going through a website where I came across this article regarding temperature setting in airconditioner and how can it help us save money on annual electricity bill & healthier for individuals living in tropical regions like India. Many of my fellow dimers may be aware of this, still I thought of sharing this article and increase awareness

I always keep it at 26 and then keep the fan on at slow speed. works wonders for the electric bill.
Keeping temp at 26-27 C and slow fan speed can save upto 70% of electricity cost than that for full capacity consumption.
Mine is General AC, I keep temp setting around 29-30 with low fan speed
Do you guys run it full night ?
Nope.2 hrs max during hot summer nights.That’s enough for me.Using Daikin.Sometimes running it in DRY mode also helps.
I keep my bluestar inverter ac at 27c and fan at slow speed…… It’s very soothing for sleep and bills also……
24 is too cold … 26 is not cool enough !!!!
