Hi Friends, need your suggestion if you faced similar issue and anything can be done/expected from customer care in such scenarios :
I recently ordered shoes in flipkart recent fashion sale for 3600rs which was 5% discount over base selling price 3789rs.
Next day flipkart started offering 10%+10% on same product effectively dropping price to 3031rs.
As I already consumed my 360rs quota from hdfc offer(10% disc, max – 500) on last day shoe purchase, I could not reorder the shoes with maximum discount. I also did not get much time to arrange for other card as came to see this only 1 hour before the sale end.
I had a call with customer care, where she rejected for my claim for difference value refund and said flipkart is not liable.
But I feel a bit cheated that in same sale I ordered a product and next day others were able to buy cheaper.
Fk/Amazon could implement a standard policy to compensate in such issues for same sale/7days period.
Will helpful if anybody can share I am thinking in wrong direction and this should not be eligible for difference refund.
