Yeah noticed RBI saying this. I always had Anydesk and Teamviewer installed on my computer though. My ISP, Alliance broadband, asked me to install Anydesk when they wanted to remotely control my PC to fix stuffs, since then I have it installed. Will uninstall that shite now. What about Teamviewer though?

I believe you have misunderstood the issue. There are many apps which looks similar to Anydesk and while downloading please be carefull in selection of Anydesk.

There is no issue with installing AnyDesk or similar in Mobile/PC until we are aware of what are we doing. Problem comes only when you allow a fraudster to take control by sharing them a random code generated by AnyDesk.
