various fraudster on olx post their ads of selling mobile etc. they cheat people in the name of UPI money transfer..they also send their photo as army officer/sepoy.
a lot of complaint is therein internet in the name of Vikas Patel…
this is for the kind information of all fellow dimers so that they don’t fall victim to it..

There are n number of fraudsters in the name of army people, where ever you are seeing lowest prices on product and if its different location then chances of fraud is very high. Really shame on these guys to use respectable army names.
Have read so many such Frauds by using Army men name..
So what is OLX/eBay like sites doing to stop this..
Y not allow only those to sell on their platform who have verified their profile legally by using legal identification documents and a selfie matching foto as in aadhar/PAN card..
Sure they should try this..

Sending request in UPI and doing fraud.
Yes ..they do not transfer the money…they actually send request money popup during call and tell to accept it buy entering the UPI pin..
Today I had got such call from 3 number..they sound like Rajasthani/Haryanvi..
Raised complaint to DSP cyber cell through WhatsApp..

got a fraud call from OLX scammers they were saying they will transfer money through UPI google pay 
i said no i am not interested the person on call said why and that they dont have cash blah blah
Just be cautious when they request money instead of send money..

Par jinke saath froud hua.. wo kitne hutiya rahe honge.. they have money without brain… How someone can trust over internet without knowing anything abt them.. i read some msg ftom link.. i was like wtf.. how ppl can so dumb like this.. and how he is still free i am not sure..
Such people are less but do exist… actually fraud behave like army officer…also 10000 is not a big amount..so they easily believe…
How come people do such cheap things in the name of INDIAN ARMY

Same happened with me… But i was smart enough to figure it out.
Disguised as army person talked with me on Whatsapp and started luring me into trap through upi. But i caught him and he changed his sim.
Similar thing happened to me today ad well.. person posed as buyer and was eager to transfer money today it self without lookit at the item. He told me that there is a swipe machine at his army post which swipes his arm card and puts in my google pay. I got the SMS for payment and he still insisted I should put in the UPI pin and I will get the money. I see why people get trapped as not all people understand how UPI works… You are supposed to enter your UPI pin only when you want to pay and not when receiving.

Today my friend’s little brother saw a bike on olx and then he equirs about it and the owner of bike told them that give me advance and i will return it… Then they paid a amount of 10000
After that… He told us that he has bike is broken
So i will refund.. Just send me ur id and password of paytm…. But as we have already paid 10000 we didn’t give id password..
I had similar experience yesterday. A person named Parveen Kumar cheated me and took 4999 rs from me through PhonePe. My wife listed products on facebook marketplace and he using a fake profile with a name of a female asked for her contact no and started contacting using whatsapp. He must have deleted that FB account coz his messages disappeared after some time. Then he called and wanted to pay online using swipe machine of Indian Army canteen as he claimed he works in Indian Army. Then he sent QR code to my wife’s whatsapp and asked me to scan that with my phone and enter UPI PIN. I told it is trying to debit from my account but he said he will refund the money. he duped me to make 2 transactions of 2800 and 2100 respectively to a VPA swipe.machine.indian.@paytm having the name Sampurna Pyne @ icici bank. Due to the limit of 5000 I got saved from losing further. He then sent me another QR code with the heading Refund 5999 but again it asked for PIN nd the transaction failed due to limit. Then he said me to add my other accounts to PhonePe or send a picture of my debit card on whatsapp. I didn’t agree to send debit card picture as it was clearly an attempt to fraud and take my money. he told he will call me today. Then in the evening I couldn’t withdraw money from ATmM and got the message that my account and netbanking access are locked due to security reasons. I contacted my RM in bank and today i got to know that those UPI transactions were suspicious and somebody tried to hack my account o they locked it to protect from those miscreants. That fraudster called me today but I didn’t pick. Btw yesterday night he was asking for my account details but I didn’t share.

1. Don’t send money without seeing product
2.there is no logistics for army with name of “army transport office”
3. I sent money to NSDL PAYMENTS BANK and account holder Anand baghwar
looking at various comments,wondering how people gets fooled(even the dimers)…why dont people understand nothing comes in free n there is no reason to receive money(as per fraudsters) without selling the stuff..ultimately its the greed from both side
New numbers has been used by these people for scam now i got call from +91 80901 88295 and 6391769877.
These stupid people just start to irritate by calling several times that they have send the money by mistake return and irritate you .
