Recently i made a transaction of amount 800 on firstcry using freecharge and got cashback of 80 rupees(10%) in wallet.
Firstcry unable to process one item in the order and initiated a refund for 60 rupees. Freecharge says that this refund amount is adjusted with the cashback and didn’t credit any amount.
Ideally they should credit (60-6) = 54 in my account right?
Anyone came across this situation, please guide.

Yes, that is why stopped using FC for merchant payment especially for Pharmacy order as 100% fullfillmemt is joke for these sites
Now all website follow these steps only flipkart, mytra also giving refund in same manner. (e.g during phonepe 10% cashback offer the refund amount for partial cancellation i received partial product amount minus total cashback.)
Same with my Ajio Order.
Missing 2 shirts , did complain to Ajio. Refunded to FC , FC ne Kat Liya Rs 100
U can cancel the whole order and then again place a new order excluding that product.
If you really want to.
Faced this on IRCTC. A ticket of Rs.135 when cancelled IRCTC deducted 120 & rest of the amount was adjusted by freecharge in cashback. So, after cancelling ticket I got big, fat anda in my freecharge wallet.
Same happened with me on Myntra with phonepe offer
Freecharge having same condition across merchants
I faced same situation in 1 mg refund
They donot adjust proportionately
