Freecharge Wallet Fraud Transaction

@champ22 first why u kept so much balance in fc. When it is useful no where.
Their card not useful anywhere.

But one thing is sure that, yr password was easy to crack or it got leaked. So someone able to login and did tx.
Check, tx done where? if mobile tx they fc guys can do something.

1000 rs is so much money

Mostly pay electicity bills so fc giving 4% on add on

Why shouldnt we keep it

R u using same paswrd at each and every website ..Do u think fourm and website cant see ur passwrd
If u think u cn use same pass every where then u r wrong

Save ur other acc before u loose more

U need to change all your password from a clean device( virus free)

And do mail freechrg telling them u r cheated and askinf help

Ps : security is jst an illusion these days

First of all this is ur fault for keeping weak password
Now u have complain freecharge, freecharge may introduce otp verification for login like paytm
Then all loot will stop becoz many people have more than 100 account

Never use freecharge

It’s full of fraud

Freecharge lets you withdraw the balance to your bank without any charge. Even if you use it occasionally for bill payment, it is safer to withdraw all money and use your credit/debit card when needed for bill payment. Same thing for other wallets also though they charge 1%. Can’t tell when these wallets will shut down (except those from Banks)!

My password is pretty ok, mix of characters, number and special symbols.
Obviously I use same pwd on multiple sites otherwise it is impossible to remember them all. I had already changed pwd on many sites (which I could remember) after fraud transaction.

To my surprise, Freecharge risk team is not accepting my request for reversal of money and are saying that transaction is authenticated by me. I have emailed them few times, but didn’t help. Any suggestions ?
I can write on their facebook but not sure how much will it help.

please change some of your passwords and some other guys also complained that their account hacked, free charge is now hackeble, so its better to keep Rs 50-100 max. , also they have blocking accounts of some guys.

my wallet was also hacked and 500 was used. I complained them on twitter .. got some response from them on email as well but no refund..

Update – After few email exchanges, Freecharge has agreed that transaction was done as a result of phishing attack on their website and have returned my money in the wallet
