Fruit Blenders? Smoothies

I am trying to move away from fruit squashes and juices to smoothies.
I assume (as I havent used one) regular mixer sometimes wont be powerful enough to chop the seeds and thick skin and can’t set the fine to coarse grind.
Is anyone using a fruit blender here? However I don’t see many options in the market (may be, malnourished brains). Please point out one if you’re aware of, I would happily purchase them to make smoothies. I am looking for versatile options and keeping ears open on opinions and suggestions.
