[FYI] Bank Gift Cards, RBL & Tickets Compliments are not Eligible for Amazon HDFC Cashback Offer

My experience so far with YouFirst.
- Oct 1: Ordered 11 x ₹1000 cards at ₹900 each + shipping
- Oct 5: Delivered
- Oct 6: Activation request sent for 3 cards. Activated in 3 hrs. Amount credited in another 30mins.
- Wallet load failed at Payzapp.
- Worked at Paytm, Oxigen, Udio, PayU

- Requested activation for remaining 8 cards in the evening.

- Oct 7: Activation completed by noon. Another 4 hours for Crediting amount to card.
Used them all up to add to Udio for an advance Utility payment to get ₹250 Udio treats.

One thing though. I was unsuccessful in registering the Card on their website. Tried both the A-Pin and I-Pin. No luck.

U dont get udio treats for utility payments right?? i tried it myself n talked to CC they said you won’t get it..

I also tried sending e-mail, thought of saving 1.5rs/card but immediately got some error it can’t be sent. My cards are working fine ( only those whose activation is sent from my registered mobile number, again tried to save 1.5rs/card and sent some via jio )

I think there is different issue with mine.
Just got to know that all my cards have 0.00 balance in them.

Edit: I got 10 msgs for activation of my cards. But upon using all the transactions are getting declined. Tried using 3 cards so far but all are having 0.00 balance.

You will soon get another msg starting xxxx amt has been credit to ur card no.xxxx . They will credit u value , normally on same day within 3-6 hrs.

Nothing yet. This is bit complicated now.

What is best approach to transfer this money to bank a/c??

Did you guys got any email for cashback from amazon (If u have purchased RBL gift cards before 4 pm on Oct 1) . Amazon normally sends a email that u will get cashback on XYZ date after the bank specific sale gets over . I even get email when the cashback is processed on that specific time .
But this time i have not got any mail from amazon about HDFC cashback till date

Also would like to know that if requested via email for activation of card than on which no. you are getting confirmation and money loaded sms ? And is there any extra security via making transaction online like OTP ? Asking because i don’t have access to no. registered on amazon ac from which these were bought . The one point i know is one can send msg from any no for activation but i didn’t tried that as confirmation msg was taking too much time and i was informed by @cm4444 that wait for confirmation msg before requesting for another card otherwise only first card will get activated , rest all be denied .

For small amount , say under 5k and considering u don’t have KYC updated than “UDIO” , No charges

or else try with Paytm , if u KYC updated Paytm ac (25k in day/month, IMPS) @1%+ Tax

@RDX I did not buy RBL cards via HDFC cards — I noticed the deal after the change in T&Cs. So I can’t comment on the cashback for users who ordered before the change in the T&Cs.

As for your questions about RBL cards activation, I will try to address them one by one.

(1) You will get activation and “money loaded” SMS’es on the number registered on your Amazon account (or the number provided for your shipping address, if they are different).

(2) No transaction OTPs are sent! The first time you do a transaction, you will be asked to create a SecureCode (i.e. an alphanumeric password) using the ATM pin which comes with the card. And then you will use this SecureCode to complete all the transactions. As I mentioned earlier in another thread, there is no security/safety if the courier guy decides to steal your package!

(3) Now that I have gone through the process, I can surely say that sending a simple email with all your card reference numbers in it is the easiest way to get these cards activated. They don’t care who is sending the activation request email/SMS just like they don’t care who is doing the transactions.
