LIC policy holders who have been paying premium for 3 years or more can avail LIC credit card issued by Axis Bank. It comes with all the benefits of Axis offers and can be used to avail instant discounts during sales where there is Axis offer.
This card is Lifetime free card and has a higher chance of approval than a normal Axis card. Since your application is forwarded by LIC to Axis bank, they highlight the surrender value of your policies to the bank. So higher the value of your policy, higher is the chance of approval and higher credit limit will be given.
Previously Axis rejected my application for credit card twice(all other banks gave me a card except this Axis bank), but when I applied through LIC channel, they approved and gave me my highest credit limit till date.

It is not necessary to apply through same agent you took the policy from. Any agent can take your application. Contact your nearest LIC branch office, they will give you the details of agent to contact in your area for card. Policy can be taken from anywhere, as long as it is active in the LIC system.
