Oneplus one cm 12 update is out.
People are getting the OTA update randomly (Source – oneplus forums )
But if you dont want to wait then here are the details to do it manually,
Step 1. Download the CM12S Android Lollipop Zip file for Oneplus one here and Don’t extract the folder.

Step 2. Move the downloaded ZIP file on the phone. You need to flash this file manually form the recovery mode.
Step 3. Turn of your Oneplus one and boot into recovery mode. To do this Press Volume Down + Power button.
Step 4. Now you are in the recovery mode. Wipe the following > (If you are on CM11S Wipe > Dalvik cache, Cache)
(if you are on Oxygen OS and CM12 nightlies = Wipe > Dalvik cache , Cache , system, data )
Step 5. After that Go back and start the flash process.
Step 6. Tap on install. And Locate the CM12S zip that you moved on you phone one Step 2 and Flash it.
Step 7. One the flashing process is done. Reboot to system.
Step 8. The first boot will take 5-6 minutes.
Enjoy! Now your phone is running on CM12S Android Lollipop.

If you use Google Now Launcher you can use XGels .
Else Custom launchers !
Also most of the themes change the default app drawer colour !
Guys I dont see an OTA update for my OPO currently so if I install the update manually as is mentioned in the first post, will the existing data be lost or not?

No everything will be intact.
No data will be deleted.
And do wipe cache + dalvik cache in recovery after installing the zip.

Install Xposed for Lollipop and then install a module named Screen Off Animation !

In TWRP while flashing only wipe Cache , Dalvik Cache and System (better to wipe system to remove data traces of previous system !)
(By selecting Advanced wipe !)
Do not wipe Data ! Your data will remain intact !
It’s too early to judge but I think the battery life is just awesome.

App themer is the only thing making me stay on CM12S !! Just mind blowing !
You can have 10 themes install and then customize each app from any theme !!
This has got to be the best theme experience !

Here’s what I did….downloaded that 500MB+ zip file from google drive link and copied it to my phone.
Switched off phone.
Pressed volume down and on/off switch together to start recovery mode.
Selected Wipe Cache Partition.
Selected Apply Update & chose the Zip file.
Then it says
Install failed
Finding update package…
Opening update package…
Verifying update package…
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Anything i’m doing wrong?!
