In the short term it may be bad. But it’s needed for a good future. Else the ones giving deep discounts will only remain tomorrow and dictate terms according to their will….

Don’t get fooled by discounts. 50% discount means, half the quantity supply. You hardly get “Value for Money” quantity of meals. Check and compare when you order next time. Good Luck

I wonder why govt didn’t intervene when Jio was giving deep discounts and brought the whole telecom sector down.

instead we saw pm posing for Jio on every newspaper.

first Amazon, now this, looks like these kind of shakedown is only reserved for anyone who is not Ambani.

Restaurant get more traffic = more revenue
A lot of them don’t even pay the cut of these food delivery apps themselves
they just adjust it in their menu prices listed on the platform. This is also borne by the customer + discounts given by these platforms.
This is a regressive move by the restaurant association. Rather than embracing the competition they want to keep their dominance buy such tactics.

Kaju barfi is 12 rs per piece in a sweet shop, but on zomato its 16 rs per piece…so already 25% hiked on zomato..
Delivery charge extra..
