I have ordered LG 22MP58VQ-P monitor from paytm for Rs.6600(after hdfc cb + paytm cb) . Today GST on monitors has been decreased from 28 to 18%.
How much time does it take to reflect on online prices?
Does the new tax rate applies from next quarter or on the next day of declaring? If anyone remembers at the time of food gst slashed
Should I cancel the order and wait? I can wait only for a week or two.

Bought a monitor 22 inch for Rs.5100
Total tax @ 28% ~ Rs.1400
So, for Rs.5000 purchase, the total tax was around Rs.1400.
Which one did you buy and how is it?
I don’t think new rates will be adjusted from next day. All distributers/retails will have to adjust prices in all their machines within a few hours. They should be applicable from next quarter.
Don’t understand why they were charging 28% on monitors in first place? 
when the gst rate droped flipkart reduced the price next day.Not sure about small sellers.
What about import tax? Right now you cant buy anything from abroad like amazon us because they charge you 45% import tax..Where as before GST they were charging like 12%..
earlier it was max 12%?

The cut rates will be applicable from 1st January,2019 .
from jan 1, 2019 so expect from first week of january.
