The prices online are quite high right now. It was as low as 50k last month and even till last week was being sold for around 52k to 53k, but right now the least you can find it for is 57k.

I suggest you to find the price in local stores as well once.

I wouldn’t recommend a 16gb iPhone unless you are very sure you won’t need any extra space, especially on 6S. The usable memory is only around 12GB. A simple 30 seconds video captured on 6S will take around 300mb memory, that too not in 4K.

Also consider a used phone with Indian warranty. All you have to do is ensure that the phone doesn’t have any physical damage.

Every iPhone is definitely better than the previous one but one thing you have to consider is that if you are ready to shell out a huge amount of money on a new iPhone.

The launch price of iPhone 6S Plus 128GB was 92k in India which is now available for as low as 65.5k on Paytm after cashback. So during the initial few months people spent 92k on this device. So are you ready to spend this kind of money?

My guess is that the pricing of iPhone will be better normalised soon once Apple enters India officially but till then the disparity between the initial launch price and price after three months will be significant.

So in short, if you are willing to wait for three months since launch of new iPhone then wait for the new version else get a 6S or 6S plus now.

iPhone SE is a mid term device which is not their major product. The next major iPhone would be iPhone 7 that will be launched in September 2016.
