Can i register my father’s name bill (electricity) ?
Can i register for my friends postpaid bill ?
If yes, will my credit card will free for lifetime or not ?

Phone banker said you’re card will be free for a year/ lifetime .
But not know which kne you’ll get.
Now if suppose I’ll get one year free where to check the status?

Usually moneyback card is issues LTF. If not, first check with Customer care or branch that adding smartpay will make it LTF and then add these via netbanking.
Just contacted to phone banker he said that you’ll get 5% cashback upto 100 on your monthly bills.
Also as money back is charged cc you’ll have to pay 599+ gst as Annual fees.
Wavier off procedure
You’ve to spend 20k in 120 days of card issued to get free for first year.
Then you’ve to spend 50k in a year to waiver off second year fees.
Also he adds that if you register for smart pay you’ll get one year/ lifetime free credit card.
Not assure you in both. For that you’ve to check the money back cc t&c and he unable to read.
Now how to know that – will it free of lifetime or just for one year.
And is smart pay really worth it to Activate or not.
You can register electricity bills and phone bills of any user.
Having these registered does not necessarily mean that your card will be LTF. its sole discretion of HDFC to decide.
