The normal facilities available via net banking are available in the app.
Cash deposit is possible at the branch for upgraded accounts.
But yes, cheque book is not available, only DD can be got issued from the branch.

off topic, is interest credited for last month ( July) in dbs bank??

i) By netbanking i meant payment via NB (i.e ordering stuffs from amazon, payment through Digibank NB )
ii) They don’t have branches in every cities (except two/three metro cities afaik )

I have paid at Amazon using the physical debit card. Even got intimation of cash back for those transactions.
But agree that branches are limited to Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and only a few other cities.

Biggest problem with dbs is that it doesn’t run on rooted phones

I got DBS Saving account with physical debit card. I am unable to add money using Debit card. The Validity date option is not working. Did they blocked money add feature by debit card???

if they r not able to ans this simple query then y the hell do u want to open an acct in that bank? what if thr is some urgency or help u might need after opening acct.
