I lent Rs. 10000 to a friend in december and now he lives in Australia. He wants to send that money back to me but how can he do that legally?
Cannot use paypal as total deduction in form of fees and taxes is greater than 10%. Direct bank transfer is giving very bad rate. Only good option we found is remitmoney.com but found that it is illegal to get money directly in savings account.
Can anyone explain if there is some problem with getting money directly in saving account instead of NRE/NRO account.

ps. i don’t have a NRE/NRO account and the sender is not able to operate his NRE account from Australia so he cannot remit money in it and than transfer it to me.
