Hi Folks,
Please help me in planning a trip to any of these places in the month of Feb, I’ll be traveling with my wife:
Places: Andaman/Thailand/Malaysia (If u have any other suggestion let me know)
Preferred dates: 13Feb to (4-5 days tour)
Max Budget(total): 1.25Lacs
I saw tours on MMT and other websites but they look very costly. Plus I heard if u plan it on your own then u can save a lot of money.
Question Regarding Flights: I was looking for Airasia flights and they look very cheap. Could someone explain me the additional charges which they take for an international flight. Price for Delhi to Kuala Lumpur International Arpt was ~5K. I want to know the additional charges.
Appreciate your help !!
Edit: Just to clarify I want a trip to any of these places and not all at once

Kyu, shadi kar raha hai ya aisse hi le ja raha hai ussko Valentines Day pe???
went andaman, by october 2014 . stayed 3 and 4 star hotels . arranged by local tour agent . 25k per head and 1rs flight tkt . so if you plans for andaman then it will be 75k max all in one ..
I think trip to Andaman or trip overseas should not be clubbed.
Ask rock bottom bro for best strategy ,he planned his honey moon the dimer way.
We can search full details for Andaman , if u r in keen on it, but focus on Singapore /Malaysia instead of Thailand or Andaman if the trip is special
(If budget permits)

I think I was not clear in my question. I want trip to any of these places and not all at once.
Tagging @R@ck B@TT@M !!! Need ur advise
I would love to go to Malaysia if it can be done in 1.25Lakh for a 4-5 day tour in Feb. Since Andaman can be done in <80K so it is my 2nd choice.
Good to see that people remember my trip
Tips for South East Asia (Malaysia, Thailand etc.)
Step 1: Check Air Asia and Tiger Airways tickets for your preferred dates – also Check Malindo Air; Use SkyScanner for comparing flight rates – forget all oher website – you can Search India to Malaysia on SkyScanner and not necessarily add a City Name.. So its easier and efficient.. I got the cheapest ticket from Kolkata and flying from Mumbai to Kolkata and then to Kuala Lumpur was cheaper than flying from Mumbai to Kuala Lumpur
Step 2: Get a hang of the hotel rates for your dates on Booking.com
Step 3: Check DPauls Tours at https://dpaul...m/ – they have Malaysia Packages with langkawi for 6 nights well within your budget – https://dpauls.com/searchpackage/malays...8/ – its for 45k per person including flights
Step 4: Compare booking on your own v/s Dapauls – please budget in the Airport Transfers and cabs that you will spend on if you don’t opt for DPauls
Step 4: Ask me by tagging here if you are still in doubt

You will shell out for luggage for sure – keep a buffer of at least Rs. 5,000 for luggage (per person per flight) as the fare is hand luggage only fare – check the latest rates though and the option you need to go for
DONT carry extra luggage to the airport – they skin you alive with charges like $25 per KG or something – so I will suggest to buy 5-10 KG extra buffer
No Refund even if the passenger is dead They don;t understand the meaning of the word REFUND.. I think they have filters in their ear Hope that answers the refund part for you

Hey, thanks man
I have been planning same destination for coming April .. quite a help it was !!
Luggage will be around Rs.1500 per person per flight generally!
Airasia does offer great prices if you book right when the sale starts, else you’ll have to compromise on timings.
Hotel checkin is around 2pm usually.
Book airasia directly via netbanking will be cheapest.
Thailand has more options and will be a better choice unless of course you go to langkawi in Malaysia which is my fav place !
Malaysia Visa – 3600
Thai Visa on arrival around 1600
Thailand – Krabi/Phuket/Ko samui + Bangkok
Malaysia – KL + Langkawi
Thailand – Cheap!
Malaysia – 1.5x-3x
Dpauls does have some prepurchased inventory and offers good discounts. Else Goibibo is <3
I’ve done a 10 day Malaysia+Thailand+Cruise 4d/3n for around 1.4l all inclusive. so you will not have a problem.
Folks-
Any reviews about Dpauls?
They are not very popular and web is having mixed reviews so I m skeptical in booking Malaysia tour through them?
