if end use is for a commercial enterprise then you can or end user can ask around from similar other shops/ establishments, firms for advice/ feedback.


last i checked with a bank employee, they relied on the machines only for detecting few features of the various designs, else human check was more relied upon for detecting possible counterfeit.
it seems whichever make they had, was/is rugged enough and did not develop snags, as to require technician visits or to be sent for repairs.
unfortunately off-hand i don’t recollect the name .. or any names for that matter!

may be if there are any bankers or other business employees. Forex dealers too have good equipment, so if you know anyone, ask them.
