None available with unlimited 3g plans. You can try if you are getting BSNL evdo sim or try reliance cdma 950 plan and both are unlimited.

Reliance has unlimited 3g. The plan is called Zero Plan.
But its 9800 for 1 year.
And its a gamble with reliance. You first need to make sure that Reliance 3g works well where you plan to use it. There is no point getting this plan for a mobile.
Since reliance has good speed in my residence i got that plan and have put it in a wifi dongle.
I get 500 – 800 kbps depending upon peak-non peak hours and monthly usage is around 100 Gb. There is speed fluctuation but never drops below 100-150 kbps

The plan also has unlimited calling, Sms and roaming too maybe.

correct me if i am wrong but reliance has stopped this plan/offer from quite some time.

Also, this plan/offer is bundled with a phone, so it’s like paying around 1500 for everything free (call, sms, net, roaming), with the cost of phone as well.
I was inclined to buy the GSM ones.

The plan was first launched as a combo with new handsets.
But i inquired about this plan from two reliance stores and both were able to offer me the same.
This is a GSM plan, no idea if the same is available in CDMA or not.
A personal visit to the store can be beneficial since most of the times the only plan available on the net are the ones that never change or are more beneficial to the service provider. There are many more plan that never make it to the website since they are only there for a fixed period of time or get revised every 6-8 months ( Promo ). You can tell the reliance people that you are only interested in this plan or else they might try selling you something else. And also one store told me the cost as 10800 and one told me as 10600. Since the 10800 store was ready to give me a receipt i went with that. But the very first bill that came mentioned the bill as 9800 – 9800 advance payment. After some weird stories from the store people about 1000 being their commission and extra tax and an email to nodal office i was able to get a cash refund of 1000 from the store. So better would be to get a connection and ask the customer care the exact amount of the plan.

Yes it is available in CDMA too and my cousin uses it from past year. It’s an unlimited voice, data and messaging plan. He had paid 25k for 3 years.

I am presently on Reliance CDMA Magic 1300 postpaid plan. Unlimited call, unlimited roaming, unlimited sms (100/day), unlimited data. But RCDMA is shutting down operation in Punjab, Haryana, Odisha and WB soon. Keep that in mind before opting for it.

Reliance cdma offers few good plans in prepaid. I am not sure if its 1x or evdo but there is no tnc that its for 1×.

The plans vary state to state.

Up west- 178- 10gb 26 days.
Bihar – 5 per day 500mb.
Rajasthan – 5 per day 250mb

Check ur state and check if u can arrange sim for other state.

Use these sims in dongles. You can buy unlocked used from ebay at 350 or so.

I have also arranged for Up sim from a collegue. Waitinf for him to courier it to me. Hopefully by next week i’ll be able to confirm if 178 works on evdo or not and if roaming is free.

Reliance was offering flat 50% discount for jalsa plans for mnp constomers. Jalsa plans are for heavy users, i guess this 1300 per month unlimited is jalsa plan only. A cdma wud b better option as reliance is notorious for activating vas via ussd and gsm have pathetic service at many area whereas there is not much billing issue in cdma, moreover cdma have decent coverage all india.

If I am not wrong none of the operator (GSM) giving true unlimited plan in India
Yes Aircel and VODAFONE having unlimited plan but after the high speed quota the speed will be capped to 128Kbps and later 64Kbps and unusable.

So if you are asking for 3G unlimited plan tben forget about it.

If u wanna use it at home (max time) go for any broadband plan like railtail etc.

EVDO needs to be activated from the backend in RCDMA. Normally works through SMS. But sometimes it can be a real pain.

CDMA is different technology from GSM. With RCDMA all plans work for both 1x (2G equivalent) and EVDO (3G equivalent), as long as device is EVDO enabled and network is operating on EVDO.

Activating evdo is not smooth proces? I had reliance RJ sim. Sent an sms and never got a chance to check net as had no card. Got UP West sim from friend, should reach me by weekend by courier. Will check evdo on it.

In simple terms, software update yaar
Go to settings and update your device
and forget about BSNL EVDO, they are shutting down completely within a month or two
