Have you tried using Fastag at any other toll plaza?

First load money on your Fastag wallet.

Recharge fastag using any UPI app (Phonepe UPI, GooglePay, Paytm UPI, BHIM UPI etc), just type “netc.yourCarRegNo@respectivebank”, (for example: netc.MH01AL5469@HDFCBANK)

Using Paytm Fastag since 1 month, no issue at all.
Maybe Fastag issued was damaged or wrong fastag given by paytm.

You got the fastag for how much brother?

Surajit Jenamani, a national highway user at Panikholi Toll Plaza in Chandikhol-Bhadrak stretch, had to pay cash, despite having enough balance in his Fastag on December 13. The toll gate read his tag as “blacklisted”, which apparently meant he did not have enough balance. As a result, he paid ₹130 by cash for a two-way ride. But, when he returned, the toll amount was deducted from his wallet, he claimed in his tweet. Jenamani wondered why toll charges are not getting debited immediately.

Similar issue happened with me…I got Paytm Fastag free…only 150 they charged and that was credited to Fastag wallet..so calling it free.
At first instance when I crossed toll it worked, but during return it showed that its blacklisted..so paid in cash..

It’s not problem of paytm i guess. Problem is in their system. Using paytm fastag now almost since 1 yr., have face few such incident & all the time problem was in system of toll & not in paytm…

We fought hard sometime for such issues at toll both…

Also don’t expect any good response from paytm fastag. Once I tried to contact them via phone & email, for mail they responded after 1 month

..in the beginning as i expected banks tag will work better than wallet tags….wallet tags will streamline in 3-6 months….

Heyy.. the same thing happened to me strday..There was more than Rs.500 in my Paytm wallet when my Paytm issued fasttag stopped working. I was travelling through successive toll gates. didn’t have a problem with the first 5 gates.. the next few gates showed my tag to be blacklisted. I tried topping with another 500, and waited for 30 minutes before passing through the next gate. the tag was blacklisted even after having 1000+ in my Paytm wallet. This was such a hassle as number of vehicles piled up after me. Raised a ticket with customer care.. waiting a to hear from them

I have paytm fastag but never travelled through any toll since I’ve applied it on car,I’m planning for a trip in next week.I’ll let you know.If this is the problem with almost every user then RIP FASTAG 😪

Same thing happened with my ICICI bank fastag with balance of 150rs. I did a fastag recharge of 200+ and it got activated. Give it a try.

That happens with me too… not sure about this.. but Someone was saying if your car is very near to the next car passing with fasttag.. your fasttag will be blocked.. so keep maintain a big difference between yours and next passing vehicle.. may be this is because they want to avoid two cars going with single fasttag..
Also.. it was automatic unblock in my return journey (next day)

Still no response from Paytm.. my query remains open

Same issue .. happened with me also.. at first toll it worked fine but later it didn’t work at all showing Blacklisted.. Even though i had Rs.600/- in my PayTM wallet..have mailed to PayTM but no response yet..

File a FIR under section 420 against the CEO of PAYTM
Also file a complaint in PGPortal for deficiency in service

Collected new fastag from showroom . Now it’s working fine .

How to recharge fastag? I took it from axis bank. Or is it auto debited from bank account when the balance fall below certain threshold

after reading thia i am confused..shld i buy paytm fastag or not? any other better option?…can i buy fastag from local sgop somewhere and link it to bank or paytm?

I am also facing the same issue. On first instance transaction through Fastag happened. But post that its showing Black listed. What to do??

I also bought fastag from paytm but while journey on first toll it was activated and after 20/30 minutes on second toll it was blacklisted then third forth toll it was blacklisted. When I call Cc of paytm they told you have to buy new one. They All are cheating to us. I think paytm is very third class app. There customer care is very unprofessional.now what I do please suggest.
