but the salary would be 6500 per month and a 5 year contract
i know none of any guys would think of it as a good job … but given its shimla , i can enjoy the weekends where every person go as a tourist n that too for a short time .

You say you are non materialistic but I think you haven’t seen world’s greenery once you will see yours thinking may be changed.
I suggest if current job giving good money than don’t leave it in seeing dreams of Shimla.

bro i agreee with kanz
u must not leave ur job just for nature .
and u better know that u r from punjab , and almost as much as i have seen punjab , its villages are full of natural beauty so what more than u can expect in Shimla.
i suggest stick with ur current job.
Somtymes u have to sacrifice somethings

Grass is always greener on the other side
Edit- Only if you plan on doing some innovative business which can bring you a second income.
please delete this comment Sir. it was made here by mistake. I am scared, don’t want to get mocked. I was trying to comment in chat topic.
@umaga No way! Shimla is not worth it. It’s just another crowded and polluted hill town.

Well said!
@umaga Always aim for a higher place in life. Stick on with the current job & keep checking for new jobs, only if you get a better offer than the current job & the conditions are favourable, then proceed. 6500 income & 5year contract are a definite NO from my side. Don’t worry, Be happy. Life always provides lot of opportunities.
Very bad idea to leave your current job and take up something that pays much less that too with a archaic bond( Is the bond stuff even legal?). You have not mentioned whether the job you are offered in Shimla would provide accommodation along with food since 6.5k cannot get you much anywhere in India, let alone in a touristy place such as Shimla. Like @ranjithsai01 mentioned, grass seems to be always greener on the other side. Think over it and take a wise decision. Do keep your family in loop before taking any hasty decision.

Bhai Karma Given.
frankly why drop the idea…
not this one at bus stand but find another job which pays same as your current one or same job in Simla. that way you make 15k plus can explore the town.
BETTER be a member of the youth hostel and book yourself a week at just 300 bucks a day at the dormitory (long-time back it was 50 bucks a day guessing the current rates).
So for 1 week
accommodation : 2100
food : 150/day on budget : 1050
travel : 200/day ( bus) : 1400
total : 5000 in a week (extra travel from punjab and back)
single you might have 5000 savings i guess to spare. 1 week leave from office might be acceptable to your boss.
Uf you be kind to people you wilk make friends and next tine they will let you stay with them (free accommodation in simla)
1 thing I have learnt is if you want to explore you need a decent place to stay in town, be polite and friendly to anyone you meet and a bike to explore.
live your dreams don’t kill it.
I was once stuck in Matheran during a hike ( a hill station near mumbai) no hotels empty due to 26th Jan rush, bitter cold. I was helped by a bunch of office boys. we stayed in an old house of obe of their relatives and I was one of them and enjoyed their company.
They came to know who I was when one fellows boss called him in his cabin to tell him.
Always think of you after 5-10 years and with family.
Don’t waste time on some siliy jobs.
Even though we feel the current money is enough for us, it will not be the case when you have to settle down.
Money will not be a matter till we met some emergencies or some critical situations.
So earn as much money you can when you are young.
You dont need to be greedy for that and enjoy life too.
