@abhim25 Starting from June this year, SBI introduced some new charges. The charge on your account was a result of those changes. Basically, they charge Rs.0.3+ST per 1000 for the full amount for any deposit above 50K. This is why you were charged 22.43 (= (65 × 0.3) + ST). Also, you are only allowed 3 free deposits in a month before they charge 50 per deposit + ST.

In my local SBM branch its Rs 115 for deposits below Rs 50k. I have resorted to replenishing funds via IMPS since I had cancelled the associated debit card long ago.
Wow! Amazing! Why not introduce parking charges for our bikes/cars? And give it all to the likes of Mallya.
Also, using their Cash Deposit Machines, if you deposit by card, its free, but if you deposit by entering Account Number, Rs 25 is charged for the deposit.
And of course, charges for depositing cash from non-home branch.
May be they have different limits for these charges for different type of accounts. We have a corporate current account and cash handling charges are levied for deposits more than 25000
😰
50000rs/day limit for depositing into own account at home branch. Use other nearby banks to deposit and do NEFT. I have kotak account near my house and I deposit there for free.

When KOTAK can do it for free, why not SBI which is India’s largest bank? Criminals!
32% quarter loss, 7% NPA in SBI. Yet they are backing and merging all other PSBs which are already drowning with 11% NPA and a loss of over 15000crore this quarter. What angers SBI is that most people like me deposit money only to load their wallets like paytm, freecharge, pockets etc.

Bro each bank will have certain limits up to which they can hold cash. When the cache is Access they have to deposit into a specialised bank which is located at headquarters in each district. They are just transferring the cash handling charges 2 customers directly as they have to in Karthik expense in transporting cash safely
Solution: Swindle cash in crores and they’ll buy you a flight ticket to London and will come to the airport to send you off.
I pity those people in the lower income group who do many transactions in 100s and 1000s. Most of these people would have accounts in SBI, and they’d have no idea of their hard-earned money being scrapped off in the name of charges to help poor Vijay Mallya.
SBI is chor Bank and their employees are Kaamchor. Change Bank….
call your SBI Customer care. they will help you & have you attached PAN CARD to your that savings account as i guess they might have charged you because of it as for depositing more than 49999, you need to have PAN CARD
