Hello Dimers,

I made the wrong choice of purchasing an Air Conditioner from Tata Cliq website. Because of the HDFC card promotion and lucrative discount on offer, I opted for Tata Cliq.

Since last 6 days, I am stuck with the following situation:
1) An incorrect AC model has been delivered to me by the seller which is an aluminium condenser AC and I had purchased a specific model which was copper condenser.
2) On raising a return request, Tata Cliq tried to convince me that you should keep the AC, but i clearly told them that I need the correct model else refund the money
3) I went ahead and raised a return request, till date (5 days passed by), no one has come to collect the AC, nor are they responding to my tweets, mails and call centre is giving me generic response that we are looking into the matter.

Any one facing similar issues with Tata Cliq and has a workaround to my problem. I have tried tweeting to Mr. Vikas Purohit (CEO) as well, though no response.

Any dimer who has connects at Tata Cliq and could help me with this problem.

check in bill model no is written correct or wrong? after that inform Tata Cliq that your moving to consumer forum

Keep Contacting them again and again and give them some time to resolve your complaint. Going cosumer court is wastage of time and engergy, Instead complaint at HDFC Bank (Chargeback), they will fight on your behalf, but first give them some time to resolve your complaint.
P.S. taking compensation/price difference and keeping the current model is also a gud idea…

Already checked and sent them the photo as well..
They are only responding back stating that we are working on your issue, concerned team will call back

I told them I am taking legal action against them, but the floor supervisor was least bothered.. He stated that it is your choice, you can go ahead with the same..

Absolutely agree with you on this..
Ive been repeatedly tweeting, calling them, but receiving generic response only.

I know that going to consumer forum or putting a legal case may not help.. As there would thousands of such open case that would be pending.

Wondering if I raise a dispute with HDFC, would they be willing to help, as in this case I did receive an item though it was not as described. I doubt if they protect such txns ?

Yes, They will help, They helped me also in past, Even they give temporary credit till their investigation completes, in case of HDFC Credit Card. Yes, even in case of item not as described they will help.

Regarding generic responses, Their (Tata cliq) employees are only concerned about their salaries and not about u and even their company, most of such ecommerce companies have such idiots hired. You just keep the proof of communication with you, you need to submit the order confirmation mail, complaint/email copy and Bill,etc to HDFC bank by email, they will tackle all this matter. However you need to complaint to HDFC for chargeback in within their prescribed timelines from Order date.

Drill them via Fb,Twitter ( Do tag Ratan tata and other Higher Tata Group officials) and also mail to their Higher authorities over email.

Ive managed to call back a while ago from their Social team after repeatedly tagging Vikas Purohit (CEO).. They have asked me to wait for another day before pursuing any further legal action

Lets hope they pick up the AC by tomorrow.

Be open to take compensation, I had a small dispute of a attachment missing in hand mixer and they provided me compensation from seller, in 2 weeks.
I had a tracking number open till that time. I didn’t bothered because the main function of hand mixer was working.

Finally matter resolved.. Got back my money as well as 2,000 compensation for incorrect product been delivered..
Their social team was on their toes, once i repeatedly started tagging their CEO on twitter. smile
