I joined Desidime exactly 1 year back today. So while thinking about it , I thought it’s fun to see how people got to know about DD and joined.

MY STORY:

TL;DR: When I copy pasted a deal/process my friend sent me I got to know about Desidime.

Long Story:
1 year back…… It was the time when Foodpanda gave huge discounts. A friend of mine used to post such offers. One day I was curious and copy pasted the entire thing my friend posted in Google and hit search.
Bam! I am amazed that such websites even exist. I just knew about some coupon giving website but anyways the coupons rarely work, so did not care much about them. And the I could see how my friend knew about these offers. There were some websites with almost same offer posted. I clicked on 2-3 of them. I found DD’s UI to be good and .ost importantly the discussions happening below in the comments section and within less time I understood this is the best platform.
I joined the forum. I engaged in discussions(I don’t do that in FB) few times and enjoyed them.

I joined DD way back in 2016. I don’t remember from where I got to know about it, but certainly remember that joined it for that 50 sign up bonus. LOL…..

Later got to know that those 50 dimes are of no use. So, stopped using DD until last couple of years.

Well i joined some 3.5 years back. Someone told me about one app that gives good online deals- th***u. It was time when i had just started buying stuff online. I got excited and installed a lot of similar apps. Some stayed, some i uninstalled. I never really understood this karma and hot deal thing for a long time, except when i casually posted my first fpd, and i think "@Nigel":https://www.desidime.com/users/...08 bhau gave karma. That's when the whole thing started.

I used to Google search for coupons whenever I Recharge /Shop Online. I found DD at the bottom of 1st search page or sometimes in 2nd page. I saw this site occasionally but never joined it. I Created account in 2019 after knowing about their Android app. DD should be promoted more and more as Some nonsense sites are occupying the top spots in search results.

From 2012 onwards, I came to know about shopping deal sites from some classmates. I used to be on those other sites but suddenly one stopped and the other became crappy with bs ads and malware links ☹
I completely stopped using those sites and after a few years, while I was searching for a swiggy coupon 3for my b’day party on google.. I came across DD in 2018! 😁
And joined as a member after a few months.

I am here because of zingoy telegram channel someday posted desidime telegram link. I see the telegram channel and joined that telegram of DD on march 12 or march 20 . But after joining I see good deal posted . I have found and realized the whole thing gradually. That’s set after some months I have created dd id on 25 th may,2019.
